Dive into the 2022 NFT crash... with a comedic twist! "Bear Market" is a personal animation project that I created to inject some humor into a rather turbulent time in the crypto world.
The Challenge:
The challenge was to take a complex and potentially stressful financial event (the NFT market crash) and make it accessible and even funny. The goal was to create a piece that would resonate with people familiar with the crypto space, while also being visually engaging for a wider audience.
The Solution:
"Bear Market" delivers a humorous take on the NFT crash throug a stylized animated short, looping animation of the market charts swings as the bear casualy walks by.

Creating "Bear Market" was a wild ride! The process involved:
Translating financial jargon into visual gags, Designing a character that embody market sentiment, Crafting a narrative arc that's both funny and (painfully) relatable, Keyframing the emotional rollercoaster of the crypto world.
For this project I used Cinema 4D and After Effects.
