Character Rigging: Creating a flexible rig for expressive movement.
Animation: Bringing the character to life with dynamic and engaging animation.
Dive into how I brought my own persona to life in vibrant 3D! This personal project was a blast to create, pushing my skills in dynamic character animation and showcasing a new way to represent my brand.
The Challenge:
The challenge was to create a compelling and engaging animated 3D avatar that embodies my style and personality. I wanted to move beyond static representation and explore the potential of 3D character animation to connect with audiences in a fresh and exciting way.
The Solution:
My solution was to craft a dynamic 3D character animation piece. I took my initial 2D concept and translated it into a fully realized 3D model, complete with rigging and a lively animation sequence. This project allowed me to combine my skills in character design, 3D modeling, and animation to create a unique and engaging self-representation.
A Peek Behind the Pixels.
This project was a solo adventure in digital puppetry! It involved early character design explorations, a deep dive into 3D sculpting and retopology, and some rigging sessions that tested my patience (but ultimately paid off!). Finally, I got to the fun part: animating the character to really show off its personality and movement
For this project i used Cinema 4D, ZBrush, 3D Coat and Substance 3D.
